Hadis Ensafi (b. 1998, Iran) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Birmingham, UK. She earned an MFA in Fine Art from Birmingham School of Art. Her work delves into themes of memory, identity, trauma, and womanhood, exploring the intersections of personal history and cultural heritage through investigations of psychological space.
Working across sculpture, installation, and textile, she draws from the raw language of the subconscious, employing organic forms, intimate materials, and repetitive gestures to bring the unspoken to the surface. Her works often echo the body, not as a literal figure, but as a vessel for longing, care, trauma, and transformation.
